The Organization's vision is dedicated to fostering and supporting excellence in Film Arts and Sciences within the local Upstate New York region.
The Organization’s mission is to offer its members education on Film Arts and Sciences, organize and provide information related to local productions, provide networking and mentor-ship opportunities, and both encourage and cultivate the production community at large.

RAFAS is a growing educational collective that provides educational content, organizes and hosts educational workshops, organizes and promotes scholarships to the community, maintains relationships with industry professionals thereby providing access to knowledge in the form of networking and mentor-ship, and organizes events related to promoting local production in the Upstate Area, including a forum for social networking and sharing related ideas about film/media.
