Justice Resource Institute Dimock CSA

JRI is designated by the Commonwealth as a Community Service Agency (CSA) for the Dimock Area, servicing Mission Hill/Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, Brookline and Allston/Brighton. CSAs help families to identify the resources they need and then they coordinate the services delivered by those resources. CSAs provide two particular services: Intensive Care Coordination (ICC) and Family Support and Training. ICC uses “Wraparound” care planning where care coordinators work with families to do safety plans and home assessments, assemble the care planning team, develop individual care plans, and ensure that services in the plan are implemented in the right way. Wraparound is an approach to care where the family is put in the center of the planning process and a team is built around the family’s vision for their child’s future. With Family Support and Training, staff members called Family Partners work with the Care Coordinators to help families understand how to navigate the child serving systems, how to get supports, services, and self-help in the community, and how to reach the goals in the care plan.
