DANCES PATRELLE presents chamber-sized dramatic ballet with a focus on classical elements. Based in New York City, where the company performs every year, DANCES PATRELLE is devoted to promoting the interdisciplinary relationship between dance, music and drama, especially in the choreography of Francis Patrelle, as well as other choreographers, stressing accessible stagings for a wide audience.

Dancers, naturally, are at the center of the mission of the company. Our mandate is to provide a forum by which experienced dancers can share in a mentoring relationship with young dancers, and to contribute to their evolution as performers and artists. Equally important is to provide maturing dancers with the opportunity to expand their art through new choreographic works.
