To help create resilience to global food shocks.
To help create resilience to global food shocks.
Alliance to Feed the Earth in Disasters (ALLFED) is a nonprofit organization with two primary objectives:
1) to identify, pilot, and prepare resilient food solutions.
2) to help governments and communities implement these solutions during a global food shock through the implementation of policy, preparedness plans, and investments.
We aim to minimize the damage of a global catastrophe on the global food system by increasing the chances that people worldwide continue to have access to nutritious food, during and after the catastrophe.
Our work examines resilient food solutions that could “feed everyone, no matter what”:
ALLFED’s scientists, engineers, and economists evaluate resilient food solutions across regions to maintain the most up-to-date knowledge on the best options.

Other members of the team are working to build relationships with governments, international institutions, the media, and other key stakeholders to help them understand the catastrophic risks we are concerned about and to take action to build resilience against global catastrophic food failure (GCFF).
