Life & Peace Institute

The Life & Peace Institute (LPI) is an international and ecumenical centre for peace research and action. In its peacebuilding programmes, LPI's objective is to work with civil society actors involved in conflict transformation, from both a theoretical and practical perspective, with special emphasis on faith based organisations. The head office is located in Uppsala, Sweden and there are currently 6 programme offices in Africa: Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan, Somalia, Democratic Republic of Congo and a regional Horn of Africa programme.
