Soul of Camden, Inc., Camden NJ

The Soul of Camden, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3, nonprofit, faith based, community development organization located in the Bergen Square Community of Camden, NJ. The organization uses the facilities of St. Bartholomew 's RC Church and depends on volunteers and donations to keep our organization active. Our organization supports youth, family and community in the education process, promotes positive leadership through improving knowledge and a commitment to responsible leadership. The Soul of Camden, Inc., operates a Soup Kitchen and two educational programs: an after school program and a cutural and heritage program, First Fruit Scholars. A new program, Family Traditions, promotes family traditions and values. Although our organization strives to empower community members to become involved in activites that may influence positive outcomes for their neighborhood/community, our primary focus is on supporting and sponsoring youth programs.
