Portland VA Research Foundation

The mission of the Portland VA Research Foundation is to support medical research and education at the VA Portland Healthcare System (VAPORHCS).

MEDICAL RESEARCH AND EDUCATION CENTERED ON VETERAN HEALTH

PVARF works to enhance the health of Veterans through medical research by facilitating research and education activities conducted at the VAPORHCS. PVARF serves as the administrator of grants and contracts awarded to VAPORHCS faculty. PVARF currently administers over 100 awards spread across 80 different investigators. Since 1989 PVARF has partnered with the VAPORHCS to develop a diverse research portfolio investigating a variety of ailments afflicting our nation's Veterans.
