Missão
Our Mission AHA is a member-driven nonprofit village that builds and sustains a 55+ community to successfully navigate aging. Together, we share activities, programs and services, including access to needed assistance. Our Vision AHA’s vision is to be an advocate for older Alexandrians to live safe, active and connected lives.
Sobre Nós
Volunteers are central to the mission of AHA. Now that our community has been vaccinated and COVID restrictions are easing up, our need for volunteers is increasing. There are a variety of opportunities for volunteers to assist our members.
No special expertise or experience is necessary to be an AHA volunteer. You only need a sincere interest in helping an older neighbor in our community; we’ll support you with the rest. New AHA volunteers often are surprised to learn how flexible we are-and how many different ways there are to help.
