The New Mexico Volunteers for the Outdoors is a non-profit, action oriented organization dedicated to educating and involving citizens in the preservation, upkeep, and improvement of New Mexico's public lands. NMVFO organizes, manages, promotes, and secures volunteers to work on joint projects with New Mexico's Public Land Management Agencies.
New Mexico Volunteers for the Outdoors organizes approximately 30 projects every year on public lands ranging from trail maintenance, to park and campground improvements, to historic monument preseravation.
