Kick-Start ART brings art to those that need it most. We are a small Community-Based Organization that delivers art education and art therapy to displaced children living along the Thailand-Myanmar (Burma) border. We partner with local low-resource schools which would otherwise have no means of providing artistic or therapeutic outlets for their students. Our lessons are about joy and creativity but they are also about developing critical thinking skills, coping mechanisms, and discovering means of self-expression. 

Kick-Start ART also supports the careers of local migrant/refugee artists while simultaneously engaging the community and promoting creative thought. To execute this mission we offer career guidance, provide teacher training, invite guest artists for artistic training, host exhibitions and events, and deliver workshops.

At Kick-Start ART we believe in creativity and play, we believe in glitter and glue, we believe in rainbow collages and three-eyed sparkle monsters. At Kick-Start ART we believe Art is for Everyone!!!
