Kairos Youth Choir is a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic choir of approximately 60 children, ages 7 to 14 years, or with unchanged treble voices. It is in residence at the Calvary Presbyterian Church in Berkeley at 1940 Virginia St. The name Kairos refers to time measured by quality; by awareness of the preciousness of life.
The Kairos Youth Choir’s diverse repertoire includes songs from around the world, including the styles of classical, jazz, folk, traditional, and sung in their original languages. The Kairos Youth Choir presents concerts locally in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as many outreach performances for Northern California schools and community organizations.
