Sewa International USA, founded in 2004, is a part of a larger movement that started in India in 1989 and we area Hindu faith-based service organization in the US. Our inspiration to serve the Humanity irrespective of race, color, religion, gender or nationality comes from the time-less Hindu values of self-less service. Our guiding principle and vision is that Service to Humanity is Worship of Divinity. In order to bring our Vision into practice, we have a three-fold mission which includes working towards disaster relief, helping the local communities, and promoting volunteerism. Sewa Volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and as volunteers, we strive towards the true SEWA Spirit - Serve Everyone With Affection.
