Festus Molenje Memorial children and Youth Foundation, Inc.,founded in October, 2003 [a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for AIDS orphans in Kakamega, Kenya, East Africa.The foundation is building a boarding school and health clinic/infirmary to educate and care for children orphaned by the AIDS pandemic that is sweeping sub-Saharan Africa.The specific aim is to nurture, educate,medicate and provide the orphan children in Kakamega with the necessary tools for an independent and productive adulthood. This will be a holistic care facility focusing on the "total child concept" to include counseling,quality education and health care.Our long-term goal is to reduce the incidence AIDS and bring hope to an entire generation.
