Snow City Arts

Each year, 161,000 children in Illinois are hospitalized, and a significant number of them regularly miss school because of their need for treatment. Snow City Arts turns this time to heal into a time to learn, providing these young patients with instructors that help them cultivate their creative writing, music, painting, photography, and film-making skills. Children typically work with individual instructors at their bedsides, but when they're well enough to leave their rooms, they can participate in up to five art workshops per week.
