The International Society for Mannosidosis & Related Diseases (ISMRD) is the leading advocate worldwide for families affected by a Glycoprotein Storage Disease. Through partnerships built with science, medicine and industry we seek to detect and cure these diseases, and to provide a network of support and information.

Glycoprotein Storage Diseases are progressive, largely without treatment options and among the rarest in the Lysosomal Disease family. These inherited, autosomal recessive diseases consist of Alpha Mannosidosis, Aspartylglucosaminuria, Beta Mannosidosis, Fucosidosis, Mucolipidosis II, Mucolipidosis III, Schindler Disease and Sialidosis.
