Pillar is a non-profit public charity that is powering an equitable economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic through direct grants of critical funds to small legacy businesses upon which thriving local communities are built. Through a first-of-its-kind funding model, Pillar allows individuals and foundations to make charitable contributions that flow to for-profit small businesses as recovery grants and receive the same tax benefit as if making a traditional charitable gift. This initiative will unlock millions in private philanthropic dollars to spur local economies across the United States, enabling small businesses to return from the brink of collapse and prosper for decades to come.
