Acting for Life (formerly Groupe Developpement) is an international NGO, having its headquarters in France, and acting in the field of child protection, poverty alleviation and livelihoods (www.acting-for-life.org). The South-Asia regional programme and related field projects are focused on preventing children’s trafficking and exploitation, through a Regional office in India (SARO) and Country offices in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal.

AFL has at heart to strengthen the skills of local stakeholders of the child protection in civil society or in institutions. Since 2006, our intervention in Pakistan is implemented in partnership with local organizations and brings a response to overall issues related to sexual exploitation of children. AFL has created local offices by region, composed of experts and professionals from the concerned countries, which act in permanent support and in close proximity with our partners.
