Houston Dynamo Academy Academic Mentoring Program

The Houston Dynamo Academy Academic Mentoring Program was founded to help ensure college readiness for all players in the Academy by helping students overcome barriers to success. The mentoring program is composed of volunteers from the Houston community. Each player has a monthly face to face meeting with their mentor to discuss grades, academic progress, and completion of basis steps throughout high school, such as SAT/ACT, and NCAA clearinghouse registration. Players and mentors build relationships throughout the school year and the mentors act as a guide towards college preparedness through success in the high school classroom.
