The Donahue Institute's Research and Evaluation Unit specializes in applied social science research, program evaluation, market research, policy research, and needs assessment. Our staff members have diverse backgrounds in education, social sciences, public health, public administration, and economic development.

We collaborate with public, private, and non-profit agencies and have a diverse client base, including federal, state, and local government, local and national foundations, and community-based organizations. Our clients range from grassroots community groups to school districts to governmental agencies. We have the capacity to conduct both small and very large research projects, ranging in duration from a few months to several years. We have project experience in a broad base of program areas, with a particular focus on K-12 education, public health and human services, and economic development.
