Sobre Nós

The mission of the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House (LARMH) is to support the health and well-being of children by providing a "home away fromhome" for families of seriously ill children who are receiving care in Southern California.

Since its founding in 1980, the LARMH has welcomed more than 20,000 families from the United States and more than 40 countries. In late 2007, a new 40-room building will be added to the existing 35-room facility that will enable us to provide this valuable service to even more children and their families. We are located just across the street from Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), and two blocks from Kaiser Permanente, walking distance for the majority of our families. We provide our families with inexpensive, and often free, lodging, no one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. We are able to serve as a haven of hope for these families due to many generous contributions from our local community.
