The Children's Art Carnival has made the clear commitment that art is of premier value and importance to young people in the Harlem community and the New York City community at large by providing creative tools to educate and motivate young people. Backed by community and financial support, CAC has taught over 300,000 young people to read, write and study social studies through the use of visual and communication arts.
