Missão
At Meals-on-Wheels we provide meals to individuals in Greenwich who require delivered meals. Our volunteers deliver the nutritious meals, a friendly visits and safety checks that enable the people in our community to live nourished lives with independence and dignity.
Sobre Nós
Meals-on-Wheels of Greenwich delivers meals to anyone in Greenwich who face any challenge accessing food. We provide nutritious, low cost meals as frequently as you need for as long as you need. Our friendly volunteer drivers can stop in and visit or simply drop off - it’s up to you.
We have been serving the community for 60 years and now deliver approximately 20,000 meals/year. Traditionally we have served home bound seniors, informed and disabled individuals. We are adding a new program to provide weekend meals to young children whose benefit from free and reduced price school lunch during on weekdays.
