About Us

Hope Wagons is redefining food rescue for the San Francisco Bay Area. While large-scale food banks do incredible work, they often have a "300-pound minimum" for pickups, leaving thousands of pounds of perfectly good food to end up in landfills.

That’s where we come in. Using a fleet of agile, foldable wagons, Hope Wagons rescues the "smaller" batches of food that traditional trucks leave behind. We bridge the gap between local surplus and local need, delivering fresh, free food directly into the heart of communities experiencing 30% or higher food insecurity.
