St. Joseph's Clinic was built in 2006 by the non-profit, non-religiously affiliated organization Medical Missionaries and provies primary health, maternal, and general consultations for the region's 125,000 residents. In addition to providing medical services, the clinic runs several public health initiatives, involving community health workers, traditional birth assistants, mobile clinics, water purification, malnutrition, salt iodization, and education. We look forward to augmenting our medical services and public health programs, starting with a new Maternal and Infant Care program in 2012.
