The Vijiji Foundation of Tanzania

The Vijiji Foundation is a local, village-based non-profit organization outside of Arusha, Tanzania. We have deep roots in our community and more than a decade of experience with volunteers, education and cultural tourism. Or mission is to improve the lives of our people through a variety of community-driven initiatives that create lasting change. We offer volunteer opportunities in a number of project areas, including: environmental and conservation research, sustainable agriculture and food systems, teaching and education, building projects, working with children, and community health.
