Freedom Waters Foundation

Freedom Waters Foundation was incorporated in March 2006. Initially taking children with cancer and their families out on the water for a nice, relaxing day of respite, relaxation and pure joy, reaping the benefits of being in nature's healing environment. The organization has grown to serve those with disabilities, life threatening illnesses, youth at risk and veterans. Partnering with private and commercial vessels who share their love of being on the water and their vessels to make these therapeutic boat outings happen for so many. Small staff, large volunteer base - making it happen - memories, smiles and healing while also building a greater sense of community by bringing people together and cherishing individuals' uniquenesses.
