Cheherma Foundation (legally registered as Cheherma Wellness and Knowledge) is a community organization dedicated to improving health and education outcomes in underserved communities, especially urban areas with limited resources.

We believe that wellness and knowledge are the foundations of lasting change. Our mission is to empower individuals and families by promoting equitable access to healthcare, education, and social development opportunities — with a special focus on the urban slums of Nairobi, particularly Kibera, one of Africa’s largest informal settlements.

Through our medical and dental outreach programs, we connect passionate volunteer professionals and students from around the world with local healthcare initiatives. Together, we deliver free community clinics, school health programs, and public health education, making a tangible difference in daily lives.

Our approach goes beyond treatment — we invest in prevention, awareness, and capacity building, helping communities take charge of their own wellbeing. Each project is guided by our core values:
