Southern Oregon University Master in Mental Health Counseling

The principle objective of the Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling is to provide professional training in the application of psychological principles and methodologies in order to increase functioning and service delivery in public and private agencies, organizations and communities. The Mental Health Counseling prgoram is based on a common integrated core of courses. The central goal of this core is to train masters level practitioners who are grounded in professional ethics and values, well versed in the empirical nature of their professions and sensitive to and supportive of the increasing multicultural diversity of our communities
