    Kisumu City Cancer (KCC) is a community-based organization (CBO) that was established in 2016. KCC is registered with the Department of Social Services registration No. KSM CENTRAL /WINAM/CBO. 00471016. The head office is located in Kisumu City, Shauri - Moyo estate within St. Mark’s Methodist church compound. KCC was started from the background of challenges faced by cancer patients and persons living with HIV/AIDs (PLHIVs) in accessing treatment, Care, and Support. Cancer patients/survivors and PLHIVs had difficulty getting a forum to share their experiences and challenges, as a result they suffer from anxiety, stigma, and discrimination associated with cancer and HIV/AIDs.
