Hearts in Action International is an educational,Christian non-profit with mission bases in 5 countries. HIA headquarters in Guatemala is located in Petén, the northern most part of the country, on a 600 acre ranch surrounded by jungle. The HIA Guatemala campus houses The Jungle School (TJS) providing education to nearly 300 students,pre- K through high school anda growing vocational training program.We have a basic medical and dental clinic on the Ranch with a fulltime doctor and a visiting dentist. The HIA Ranch is located within the Mayan biosphere,a thriving nature reserve culturally rich in Mayan history. o
