Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF) is a national nonprofit organization founded in 1961 with a mission to provide safe, affordable housing and supportive services to older adults, low-income families, and individuals with disabilities. Starting with just $7,000 and a vision rooted in compassion and dignity, RHF has grown into one of the largest nonprofit housing providers in the United States. Today, RHF operates nearly 200 communities across 29 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands-positively impacting the lives of over 21,000 residents. Our programs focus not only on affordable housing but also on resident wellness, social engagement, and independent living. Through community partnerships, volunteer involvement, and charitable support via the RHF Charitable Foundation, we continue to expand our reach and improve the quality of life for those we serve. Our goal is to create inclusive, service-enriched communities where every resident can live with dignity, security, and purpose.
