Manos Creadoras Foundation is a small NGO created on 2001 that worked with disadvantaged families and kids, especially Internally displaced people. Actually we are working in Ciudad Bolivar: one of the localities whichconcentrates the poorest population in Bogota, Colombia. Ciudad Bolivar is not only one of the main districts receiving internally displaced people victims of the conflict, but also receives combatants from armed groups (guerrillas, paramilitaries, criminal gangs) . Our program focuses on Education, Economic, Social and Cultural development to improve the well-being of families and specially females heads of households and children.
