Amnesty International USA, Organizing Unit

Amnesty International (AI) is an international grassroots movement of 2.2 million people across the world speaking out and acting up in defense of human rights. We investigate and report on human rights violations, and we educate and mobilize the public until we make a difference.

The Organizing Unit strives to grow, diversify and engage AIUSA's membership base. This unit focuses on building a grassroots movement of human rights activists. We build this movement by focusing on member communication, national member mobilization on AIUSA's campaigns, recruitment of new members at national events and concerts, and member and community training/education.
