EDCO-Massachusetts Migrant Education Program remove barriers to student enrollment, attendance, and achievement in schools in order to meet the State’s performance standards that all children are expected to achieve. The service delivery programs help migrant children overcome educational disruption, cultural and language barriers, social isolation, various health-related problems, and other factors that may inhibit the ability of such children to succeed in school, to graduate high school, and to further their post-secondary education or employment.
