Cultivating Children's Health

Our Mission:

We empower impoverished communities in Northern Peru by connecting them to health, economic, educational, and environmental resources to sustainably alleviate poverty.

 Our Programs:

We connect foreign volunteers, typically college students, with specific skill sets to impoverished communities in Peru through a number of different programs.  Environmental studies majors teach sustainable living practices to our community leaders.  Pre-med students volunteer in hospitals to help doctors treat sick children.  Education and developmental psychology majors help kids with their schoolwork.  Young people interested in economics and micro-finance work with our expecting mothers to teach them business skills and sell their handmade crafts.

 We believe our communities have the capacity to lift themselves out of poverty.  We unleash this power through the help of volunteers with niche skills and the passion to empower and see an end to poverty.
