Iowa Railroad Historical Society

The mission of the Iowa Railroad Historical Society is to promote and encourage interest in the preservaion of railroad history through the application of an operating museum; to acquire buildings, equipment, track and relics specifically relating to railroads; to educate and promote public knowledge of and interest in historic railroad travel and to engage in activities for the accomplishment of these purposes.

We are an operating railroad museum promoting the history of railroading in Iowa.
