MountainServe Center of Lock Haven University

The MountainServe Center at Lock Haven University is the community service-learning program and it is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and expanding community service, service-learning and civic engagement opportunities for students and faculty. The mission is to serve where needed which includes local, domestic and international programming.

The MountainServe Center serves as a resource for faculty, staff, students, and community partners at Lock Haven University. In addition to our campus services, LHU's MountainServe Center and Upward Bound are hosting an AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) position, to assist in eliminating poverty through education of at risk youth and higher education outreach to military and veterans through a grant funded position.
