The Craftsmanship Initiative

The Craftsmanship Initiative is an umbrella organization whose flagship venture is Craftsmanship Quarterly, an online, multi-media journal published to high literary standards out of San Francisco. Our mission is to reclaim craftsmanship's principles of beauty, excellence, and durability as a pathway to a more sustainable world. The Craftsmanship Initiative is a nonprofit project of Independent Arts & Media, a 501(c)(3) organization. The Editor and Publisher, and Executive Director of the Initiative, is Todd Oppenheimer, a distinguished journalist with more than three decades of experience as an author and magazine writer.
