Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church

Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church (PC USA) is a diverse and dynamic community located in the heart of Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. We utilize creative means of expressing our adoration for God in worship, as we seek to challenge one another to grow and mature as followers of Jesus Christ. In the midst of an ever-evolving urban culture, we believe God is actively engaging us in the pursuit of relationship with him, and cooperation in his redemptive work in the world.

The unique story of Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church began as a vision for a new community of faith, rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, to love and serve our Creator, each other, Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, and beyond. This community was born of the merger between two local Presbyterian churches, and has grown to include many other members committed to following the example of Jesus by reaching out to extend his hand of compassion to the world. Our celebratory style of worship honors the diverse backgrounds and artistic influence of our congregation, emphasizing a variety of methods in which we express our faith in response to God’s love for us.
