Por Cristo is a non-profit
health services organization, established in 1979, based in Boston, MA. The majority of our funding goes toward the
operation of our Por Cristo Nutrition and Health Center, established in 1994,
in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Our primary health care clinic staff is focused on maternal-child
health, as well as numerous community outreach activities in coordination
with other local health and education institutions. Additional activities of Por Cristo include institution strengthening through medical expertise/technical assistance and collaboration with health and community development activities in Quito, Ecuador.
