The mission of the Stewards of the Arroyo Seco is to preserve, protect, and restore the Arroyo Seco stream and watershed, as well as the Los Angeles River and other water resources. We also aim to provide environmental education and activities that promote nature, biodiversity, and community engagement.
Stewards of the Arroyo Seco is a grassroots organization for advocates and activists who love the Arroyo Seco in Los Angeles County. The Stewards of the Arroyo Seco conduct advocacy and action campaigns to preserve, protect, and restore the Arroyo Seco and the Los Angeles River. Conservation education and stream restoration are key goals. A key goal is to bring back the endangered Southern California Steelhead to the Arroyo and the Los Angeles River watershed.
