    About Breastcancer.org

We are a nonprofit organization founded by breast oncologist Marisa C. Weiss, MD, and born out of her conviction that people with breast cancer need more information than a doctor’s visit can provide.

Breastcancer.org is the leading patient-centered resource for breast health and breast cancer information and support. We engage, educate, and empower people with our expert information and dynamic peer-support community so they can make the best decisions for their lives.

Since 2000, we have reached 194 million people worldwide. Breastcancer.org receives more than 20 million visits each year, and we host the world’s largest online breast cancer peer community, with more than 200,000 registered members.

Breastcancer.org is an equal opportunity employer.

We prohibit discrimination against, and harassment of, any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, gender, pregnancy, genetic information, ethnic or national origin, sexual orientation, marital status, familial status, military or veteran status, qualified individuals with a disability on the basis of the disability, or any other category that may be protected under applicable state or federal law.

Meet the people who work hard to develop, implement, and enhance the Breastcancer.org on- and off-line programs: the Breastcancer.org team.
