    St. Mark’s Episcopal Day School’s mission is to provide a loving and stimulating environment for preschool children to safely learn and grow. Our school is a Christian, nature-oriented setting where children are encouraged to develop their God-given gifts and talents. We strive to provide a learning space that inspires children to gently connect with the world around them. For over fifty years, St. Mark's Episcopal Day School has provided a safe, nurturing, and joyous community for children to experience and develop compassion, empathy, and creativity; to learn about and engage with the natural world; and to build a foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

    St. Mark’s preschool offers exciting and flexible programs and hours designed to accommodate busy family schedules. Our curriculum supports the healthy growth - mentally, physically, and spiritually - of children. We welcome you to visit our beautiful campus, please see the Contact page for information regarding preschool tours.

    We offer classes for 2 year olds, 3 year olds, and pre-kindergarten. Children must be at least 2 years old by September 1st of the year they begin the school year.

    Our beautiful campus in the South Austin neighborhood of Barton Hills is nestled in the Barton Creek Greenbelt, near Zilker Park, South Lamar, and convenient to downtown.
