Tree Trust

Tree Trust was founded in 1976 with the mission to improve the community environment by investing in people. The company was established to address two problems: the devastation of the urban tree canopy due to Dutch elm disease, and the high unemployment and poverty rates for youth and adults. We began combating these issues by providing out-of-work individuals with paid jobs reforesting the community. Since that first year we have expanded to provide integrated employment training, case management, community forestry and environmental education programs throughout the Twin Cities.
