Green Street Studios empowers artists to create, explore, and showcase ideas that enhance the vibrancy of our diverse community.

Green Street Studios is New England’s premier organization for dance instruction, rehearsal spaces, and live performance. Committed to serving the community for over 25 years, GSS offers affordable space in three large studios; two with wall-to-wall Marley on sprung floors and one with a specially made percussive floor perfect for Tap, Flamenco, Irish Step and more. Our largest space converts into a black-box theater that can hold up to 130 audience members.

GSS is home to several of the greater Boston area’s most recognized choreographers and dance & theater companies. Our inspiring and highly experienced teachers offer instruction in a wide range of movement forms including Modern, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Flamenco, Balkan, Belly Dance, Hawaiian Dance and more.

We develop innovative programming that puts the focus on exploration, invention, and excellence in dance and the performing arts.
