The Youth Employment Institute provides economic opportunities to youth who live in Portland, offering an integrated approach to employment and training services and filling the gaps that present barriers to youth seeking living wage jobs. YEI provides job training and education programs to more than 400 high-risk youth ages 14-21 per year.
Our Mission:
To promote self-sufficiency and life-long learning by nurturing personal, educational and career development of young people.
