Northeast Ohio Literacy Corps

Northeast Ohio (NEO) Literacy Corps is a state AmeriCorps program which strives to increase literacy levels in the Greater Cleveland area. In the 2013-2014 service year, NEO Literacy Corps plans to place twenty AmeriCorps members at eighteen host sites throughout Northeast Ohio.

Members commit a year of their lives to AmeriCorps, and possess a strong dedication to serving Northeast Ohio communities. NEO Literacy Corps members address the needs of various communities through providing literacy programs for early childhood education, K-12 education, adult learners, and through volunteer coordination.
