The mission of the Bobby E. Wright Comprehensive Behavioral Health Center, Inc. (BEW) is to improve the quality of life for Chicago’s Westside residents including the communities of East and West Garfield Park, Lawndale, and Austin by providing the highest quality of mental health, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities services to children, adolescents, and adults. These services are available to all persons who meet the admission criteria regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality, religion, or any other discriminatory criteria. No one is denied services due to inability to pay. A basic aspect of our mission involves the provision of these services within a cultural context that is sensitive to the community.
