Garden of Health Food Bank
Missão
Our mission is to provide healthy food to individuals, families and seniors struggling with food insecurity including those with dietary restrictions. We support over 65 hunger relief agencies in Montomgery County PA and work with 2 larger agencies in Bucks County to distribute to the hunger relief agencies there.
Sobre Nós
We have two programs. One is our food bank and the other is our farm.
Last year we distributed just under 576,000 pounds of food to our partners. In the first 4 months of 2024 we have done over 600,000 pounds of food.
In 2023 we started on a new farm location in Hatfield PA. Everything grown on the farm is donated out to those struggling with food insecurity. According to a new Gallup Poll that is 26% of Americians!
