Sociology Undergraduate Majors and MInors Association

SUMMA is the official undergraduate association for sociology majors and minors at Temple University. Its purpose is to promote awareness of sociological issues, and to provide a means for the student involvement and public events for the benefit of our local and global communities. As a new organization we are looking for more ways to get involved with our communties. Currently, we volunteer at after school programs, the AIDS Walk and have developed an Alternative Spring Break. The advantage of our organization, is that we do not have one area of focus, but instead focus on the social issues of many topics and how they interconnect.
